WISCH, Glenn R. DMD/MSW Of Monmouth County, NJ ( formerly of Tucson, AZ and Jamestown, RI) 57, died on August 21, 2013, at Hackensack University Medical Center following a long battle with chronic lymphocytic leukemia and a recent stem cell transplant. He leaves behind his life partner, Al Aronson, many close friends and colleagues, as well as Als family, and the Wisch and LeVande families. Dr. Wisch was a graduate of Fair Lawn High School, the University of Pennsylvania, New Jersey Dental School/UMDNJ, and he recently received a MSW at Arizona State University School of Graduate Social Work. Dr. Wisch was a strong advocate for the LGBT and HIV/AIDS communities. He was one of the first dentists to provide dental services for those suffering with HIV/AIDS. Most recently, he was a grant social worker under the Ryan White Continuation ACT. He worked exclusively with people living with HIV/AIDS. Dr. Wisch was an avid cyclist and spin instructor. He planned and coordinated many fundraising events for HIV/AIDS services in NYC and the Catskills. A private memorial service will be held in September. In lieu of flowers, and in Glenns honor, donations may be made to the Human Rights Campaign at www.hrc.org
