Kelley, Janice M.
78, of Hampton, NH, formerly of Naples, FL and Quincy, August 11, 2013 in Hampton. Born in Boston, June 24, 1935, beloved daughter to the late Robert L. and MaryAlice (Hurly) Lee. Loving mother to Judy Beers and partner Scott Whitten of Lake Park, FL, Nancy Serpis and husband Greg of Hampton, NH, Stacey Tirabassi and husband Edmund of South Boston, adoring grandmother to nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Barbara Donovan; sister in-law Betty Lee and former spouse Paul Kelley. In honor of Jan's wishes, a private Celebration of Life will be held in September. Jan's family would like to thank everyone for all their thoughts and prayers that have been expressed. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the , P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123. Assistance with arrangements was by the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, Hampton. Jan grew up in Charlestown and raised her daughters in Quincy, where she resided for over 40 years. She received her BA from UMass/Boston in 1983 and went on to receive three Master's Degrees in education at both Leslie College and UMass/Boston. Ms. Kelley was a Boston Public School teacher, retiring in 2003. Co-founding member of the Boston Chapter of the National Council for Geocosmic Research.
