NORMAN C. BUSBY Sr. Obituary
BUSBY, Norman C. Sr. 83, of Taunton Street, Wrentham, died on Friday at the Maples Rehab and Nursing Center in Wrentham. He had been the loving husband of Marilyn Ruth (Saumsiegle) Busby who predeceased him. Born in Framingham on June 26, 1929, he was a son of the late Alfred J. and Grace (Mansfield) Busby. He attended Natick Public Schools, and had made Wrentham and Franklin his home for most of his adult life. Norman had served the Town of Wrentham as Public Safety Dispatcher for many years until retirement. He had been a Wrentham Volunteer Firefighter and along with his wife participated in many family related activities long associated with the Pioneer Engine Company and the Wrentham Fire Department. One of his favorites was the Wrentham Fire Department Clambake, an annual ritual that was enjoyed by many in the community for decades. Norman leaves three loving sons, Norman C. Busby Jr of Attleboro, Russell D. "Rusty" Busby of Franklin, and James E. Busby of Norfolk. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South Street, Route 1A, Wrentham Centre, on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Private graveside services will be held at New Dell Park Cemetery in Natick. Arrangements are in the care of Richard Ross and the RJ Ross Funeral Home, Wrentham Centre.
