RENE, Patricia Marie (Samoluk) Born in Boston, MA on St. Patricks Day in 1951, passed away while swimming at Sunset Beach, N.C. on June 10, 2014. Pats family moved to Framingham, MA during her elementary school years and she graduated from Framingham North High School in 1968 and from North Adams State College in 1972. She lived in Bennington, VT for 35 years and relocated to Carolina Shores, NC in 2006 to be closer to her beloved ocean. Pat was a schoolteacher for 30 years with kindergarten being her specialty and passion. She taught in Shaftsbury, VT. Pat was an amazing wife, mother and dear friend to many. Pat is survived by her husband of 42 years, Paul; three daughters Danielle Rene Quinn and husband Mike of Cary, N.C.; Andrea (Rene) Rose and husband Adam of Wilmington, N.C.; Nicole Rene Novena and husband Max of Ponte Verda, FL; three granddaughters, Camryn, Kenna and Reese Quinn (and was expecting her first grandson in August); her Mother Lillian (Dunn) Samoluk of Harwich; sister Carol (Samoluk) Dennington and husband Roy of Clinton, MA; brothers Walter T. Samoluk and wife Shelley of So. Dennis, MA; George Samoluk and wife Patricia of Sandwich, MA; Thomas Samoluk and wife Carrie of Andover,MA; Robert Samoluk of So. Dennis, MA and NYC. Pat also left numerous nieces and nephews whom she treasured and loved her dearly. Her father, Walter C. Samoluk, predeceased Pat. A private service of remembrance is scheduled for Sunday, June 22nd with her family and friends on Cape Cod, MA. The Pat Rene Memorial Fund has been established in Pats memory for the benefit of students at the Shaftsbury Elementary School where she taught.
