WAGNER, Richard Carl Of Brockton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, at the age of 62. He was the son of Robert C. Wagner of Harwich and the late Betty J. Wagner. He is also survived by his loving sister Lynne E. Wildman, and her children Laura, Carl and Sarah. Rick was born in Jamaica Plain on April 28, 1951 where he resided before moving to Brockton in 1983. He graduated from Boston Latin School and Northeastern University where he earned a degree in Criminal Justice. He became a police officer at Tufts University where he remained for 34 years. He was an avid Boston sports team fan. He never lost faith in his Red Sox. One of the most memorable days of his life was when the Red Sox won the World Series in 2004. After his family, Ricks greatest love and passion was the game of golf. In June 2013, he golfed his greatest game and scored a hole in one alongside his long-time golf partner Robert Flash OBrien.
