Barry, Vincent J.
Of Framingham, formerly of Mission Hill age 80. Entered into eternal life on March 9, 2013 at his vacation home in Tempe, AZ. Vin was born and raised in Mission Hill and has two degrees from Northeastern University. He raised his family in Hudson, MA from 1962 -1983, and then was transferred to Tempe AZ till 1987 when he returned to settle in Framingham, MA. Mr. Barry was a senior member of the technical staff at GTE Labs for 30 years where he earned four US and several foreign patents. He was a Korean War Army veteran. Mr. Barry was a member of the American Legion and a lifetime member of the IEEE and the Elks. Beloved husband for 57 years to Angelina R. (Antonuccio). Devoted and loving father of Vincent and his wife Ellen of NH; Nancy and her husband David Schoonover; Kenneth and his wife Paula; Daniel and his wife Jane; Karen and her husband Steven Carter of GA; Edward and his wife Terry of AZ; Laura and her husband David Kurriss; Gregory and his wife Theresa. Proud and loving grandfather of Cayley Barry; Michael and Michele Schoonover; Emma Days; Renee Grenier, Shannon Barry; Kathryn Carter; Carmella, Phoebe, Molly, James and Chatham Kurriss; Hayley, Gregory and Vincent Barry. Great-grandfather of Kamryn Phillips. Loving brother of Mary Condon and her late husband Tom, Paul and his wife Catherine, Rosemarie Donovan, Joseph and his wife Carol, Frank and his wife Louise, Helen Burrill and her husband Fred, Henry (Bill) and his wife Lois; also the late John Barry, Philip J Barry, Elizabeth Bent, and Patricia Barry. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass at Saint Anselms Church on Landham Road in Sudbury, MA. On March 23, 2013 at 11 am. Burial service at Mass National Cemetery, Boune, MA on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 10:30 am.
