COOK Timothy J. "DOC" 28 years D.A.V. of South Boston suddenly March 3, 2013. Beloved Son of Joseph D. Cook and the late Lynn (Fitzpatrick). Devoted Brother of Joseph D. Cook and Meghan Cook. Also survived by many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. Funeral from the William F Spencer Funeral Home 575 East Broadway (at H Street) SOUTH BOSTON on Friday at 9:30 A.M. Funeral Mass in the Gate of Heaven Church at 10:30 A.M. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Thursday 4:00-8:00 P.M. Interment with Military Honors Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:15 P.M. Timothy enlisted in the National Call to Service program and was a Honorably discharged Hospital Corpsman 3RD class Petty Officer (F.M.F.) Fleet Marine Warfare Specialist. Furthermore Tim received National Defense Service Medal, Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Enlisted Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist. Tim designed and implemented a Mass casualty vehicle, which has saved many lives. Tim was a 2003 graduate of B. C. High, attended John Moores University UK, was a member Local 17 Sheetmetal Workers Helmets to Hardhats program and was a candidate for The Boston Fire Dept.
