Lawrence L. Negretti, Jr. 87 of Bradenton passed away March 30, 2013. A native of Lindenhurst NY, Lawrence proudly served in the United States Navy, and worked for Gruman Northrup Corporation for 29 years. An avid golfer and sports fan, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and good friend. Lawrence was preceded in death by his beloved wife Ginnie, and is survived by loving sons Doug (Joan) and Gerard (Carrie); daughter Sandra (Larry) Simmons; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be 9:30AM Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 12905 SR 70 E., Lakewood Ranch. Burial will follow in Sarasota National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Moffitt Lung Cancer Research Center, Tampa. Online guestbook at davidcgross.com. Arrangements by David C. My husband & I met dear Larry & Ginnie at Queen of Martrys Church in Bradenton
quite a number of years ago. We will miss his smiling face and his updates on his trips to The Trop to see the Rays play. May he rest in peace with his dear wife Ginnie.
