William F. Jenkins 87, of Ellenton FL passed away peacefully on Monday, February 25, 2013. Bill was born in Lynn, MA on January 19, 1926 where he resided until 1988. A veteran of the US Navy he served aboard the USS Ticonderoga (CV-14) during WWII. Prior to moving to Ellenton, FL he was employed as an Electrician at both General Electric in Lynn, MA and GTE Sylvania in Salem, MA. He and his wife Dorothy moved to Ellenton FL in 1988 and enjoyed line dancing fishing, and boating during their time together. A private service will be held at the family's home in Ellenton, FL. Bill is survived by his wife Dorothy of 63 years, 3 sons, (William, Robert & David) and 3 Grandchildren, (Jocelyn, Anthony & Jillian). His family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers and condolences. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Salvation Army.
