Gary Gagne, Sr.

1948-2014 BRATTLEBORO Gary James Gagne, Sr. 65 of Melrose Street died unexpectedly Tuesday night, January 7, 2014 at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital. Gary was born in Brattleboro on November 7, 1948 the sonof Homer and Nettie (Bobee) Gagne. He was raised and educated in Brattleboro graduating from BUHS, Class of 1967. He had been employed by the VT Agency of Transportation, District #2 where he retired from after 38 years of faithful service. He loved hunting and fishing and time shared with his family. Survivors include three daughters, Angela Johnson, Kerry Sullivan, Tanya Maskell and their spouses, one son, Gary Gagne, Jr., three step-children, Jason Gagne, Toby Gagne and Lisa Gundry, two brothers, Wayne Gagne and Carlton Sheldon and two sisters, Patricia Brown and Doris Gero. Additionally he leaves 25 grandchildren, one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial gathering in celebration of his life will be held at the Elk's Lodge on Friday (1/17/2014) from 11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Gary's name may be made to Sportsman's Inc. P.O. Box 313, Brattleboro, VT 05301.
