Dionicio Botello, 85, passed away, Thursday, July 17, 2014 at his residence in Brownsville, TX.|
Mr. Botello had been married to the late Ninfa Botello for 60 years. He enjoyed dancing and pachangas, loved spending time with family and never missed a Charro Day's dance.
He retired from Lacks Furniture store after serving 30 years.
Mr. Botello was also an Air Force veteran.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Anacleto and Tiburcia Botello, wife; Ninfa Botello, and brothers; Daniel and Donaciano Botello.
Left to eternally treasure his memories are his beloved children; Robert Trevino, Blanca (Noe) Pro, Belinda Botello Cavazos, Velma (Gerardo) Casanova, Irene (Jaime) Castañeda, George (Elizabeth) Botello, and Diana (Reynaldo) Rodriguez, 29 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m., today Friday, July 18, 2014 at Garza Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held at 9 a.m., Saturday, at St. Luke Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Buena Vista Burial Park.
Military Honors will be conducted by the Veterans Foreign War Post #2035 of Brownsville, TX.
Serving as pallbearers will be, Isidro Cavazos, Don Castañeda, Jaime Castañeda, Francisco Moran, Andrew Martinez, and Jason Garza.
Honorary pall bearers; Jorge Luis Botello and Troy Treviño.
