Mr. Luis De Luna, Sr., 87, of Brownsville, entered into eternal rest at Valley Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, March 11, 2014.|
Mr. De Luna was born in Brownsville and proudly served his country during World War 2 in the U.S. Navy.
He retired as mail carrier with the U.S. Post Office after 43 years of faithful service.
Preceded in death by his wife Mary T. De Luna and a son David De Luna.
Left to treasure their memories of him are his four children: Fernando De Luna, Luis De Luna, Jr. (Sarah), Ray De Luna and Hector De Luna. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Frances De Luna, Aaron De Luna, Marie De Luna, Ana De Luna and Amilia De Luna.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014 in the Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. All services will conclude Thursday evening.
