CHAPMAN - Archie J. Of Lawtons, entered into rest suddenly July 16, 2014, at the age of 56. Archie was born on October 9, 1957 in Buffalo, where he lived most of his life. Archie was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Growing up Archie learned his hobby of model trains from his father, which he passed on to his grandson, Dylan. He was a family man and an avid outdoorsman man with a passion for hunting, fishing, camping and boating. He never went anywhere without his pocket knife. Beloved husband of Anne-Marie (nee Ledoux) Chapman; devoted father of Tina Chapman (Daniel) Howe, Tessa Chapman (Joseph) Karnath, Jessica (Daniel) Schmitt and Justin Giguere; cherished grandfather of Dylan Chapman, Joseph Karnath, Theo Karnath and Liam Howe; loving son of the late Archie T. and Doris M. Chapman; dear brother of Laurie (James) Siwy, Keith (Tammy) Chapman, Daniel (Paula) Chapman and John (Dawn) Chapman; also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. No prior visitation. A Memorial Service wil be held at the First United Presbyterian Church, 35 Park Place, Silver Creek on Monday morning at 11 o'clock.
