EPES - Charles Morgan, Jr. February 14, 1923 - March 8, 2013, Buffalo NY, C. Morgan Epes, Jr., past President and last Chairman of Armstrong-Roth-Cady, Co, Inc., one of Buffalo's oldest firms, died Friday, March 8, 2013 at his home, after a long illness. He was 90 years old. Mr. Epes was a graduate of Kenmore Junior High School, Nichols School and Princeton University. Mr. Epes is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carolyn Livingston Epes; his sons, William Morgan Epes (Aundra) of Mount Pleasant, SC, and Charles Livingston Epes (Stephanie) of Buffalo; his grandchildren, EmmaGrace Skove-Epes of Brooklyn, NY; Calder Lund Epes of San Diego, CA; Hilary Morgan Epes of Buffalo and Gulu, Uganda; Robin Morgan Epes, of Buffalo; and Isobel Livingston Meroe-Epes of Mount Pleasant, SC; a step-grandson, Forest Wolf Neikirk of San Francisco, CA; a cousin, Nancy Michel, of Rochester, and her children, Suzanne, Lisa and Stephen; niece Leslie McTaggart (Kalani) of Kauai, HI; a nephew and godson, Henry Crittenden Livingston (Julie) of Amherst, NH; a godson Charles Weston Phillips, Jr. (Gwen) of North Fork, NC; and nieces and other nephews in the Livingston and Campbell families: Sarah, Carol, Connie, Charlie and Gil. C. Morgan Epes, Jr. was predeceased by his parents, the late Charles Morgan Epes, Sr., and Emma Swensen Epes, of Buffalo, and his sister, the late Marjorie Epes Fisher, of Santa Barbara, CA. A Memorial Service will held held by the family at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo, at a date to be announced by the KEVIN M. MASON FUNERAL HOME.
