KAWECKI - Edward J., Sr. February 8, 2014, age 86, beloved husband of the late Lorraine H. (nee Orwat) and the late Irene (nee Palys) Ward-Kawecki; dearest father of Christine A. (late Joseph A.) Frysz, Joan M. (Paul) Clewell, Edward J. Kawecki, Jr. and Ronald M. (Nancy) Kawecki; devoted grandfather of eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; dear brother of Dorothy Herr and predeceased by seven brothers and sisters; survived by stepchildren and their families, nieces and nephews. Edward served in the US Army during WW II as a Paratrooper, was a member of the VFW Post #463, an avid bowler and loved mowing the neighbors' lawns. The family will be present Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the (Cleveland Hill Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 569 Cleveland Drive where prayers will be offered on Wednesday at 8:30 AM and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM from St. Gabriel Church, Elma, NY.
