MORSE - Richard H. Peacefully entered into rest on January 14, 2013 surrounded by his family and holding the hand of the love of his life for 55 years, his beloved Blanche Sorgi. Richard was a dear friend and uncle of the Daniel & Joan Kowalski Family of Buffalo. He was the loving son of the late Harry and Lillian Morse and is also survived by Jean Lois Slocum. Richard was a U. S. Army Veteran of WWII who served in France and Germany with the 87th Infantry Division, he was also a P.O.W. and received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. A graduate of the University of Buffalo, he went on to have a long and successful career in the insurance business as a C.P.C.U., a C.L.U. and was the Vice President of the Alexander & Alexander Agency. He will be sadly missed by Blanche and their nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 PM at the (Lancaster-Depew Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 6050 Transit Rd., where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10 AM.
