RICHARD A. HELIAS - ST. ALBANS - Mr. Richard A. Helias, age 59, died at his home, Sunday, Dec. 8, 2012. He was born in St. Albans, Jan. 25, 1953, son of Edward and Pauline (Patenaude) Helias. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. Rick married Regina (Gina) Fasanella, Oct. 1, 1983. He worked as a forklift operator for Farrell Distributing, retiring in 2007. After his retirement, he operated Rick's Mobile Backyard Barbecue and took extremely good care of his wife, Gina. He was an avid bow hunter and ice fisherman. His greatest enjoyment was laughing and mercilessly teasing his friends. Rick is survived by his wife, Gina; his son, Tony Helias of South Burlington; his mother, Pauline Helias of St. Albans; a sister, Susan Boudreau and her husband, Charlie, of South Burlington; and two uncles, Gerard and Skip Patenaude. He was predeceased by his father, Edward Helias; and a son, Jake. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Brady & Levesque Funeral Chapel. Friends may call at the funeral home, 86 South Main Street, St. Albans, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
