Charles R. Limegrover
Charles R. Limegrover, 78, of Penn Township passed away Monday at Life Care Hospital in Natrona Heights.
Born April 16, 1934, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Charles R. Limegrover and Bernice (Carson) Limegrover.
He was a graduate of Shaler High School and was retired from Armco Steel plant in Butler after 35 years.
He was a member of Holy Selpucher Roman Catholic Church, the American Legion Post 117 in Butler, the VFW in Mars, and he was a former member of the Penn Glade Lions Club. Charles had volunteered for the South Butler Meals on Wheels program and, along with his wife, had traveled extensively in their recreational vehicle.
A veteran, he had served in the U.S. Army.
Surviving are his wife, Helen (Angert) Limegrover, who he married June 20, 1959; a brother, Donald "Red" Limegrover, and his fiancée, Nancy Johnson, of Pittsburgh; and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Joan Angert of Butler. Also surviving are his two nephews.
LIMEGROVER - Friends of Charles R. Limegrover, who passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, will be received at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. John Gizler, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.
