Harry R. "Dick" Giesler, 86, of Cabot passed away Friday at the Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot.

Born Nov. 22, 1927, in Tahlequah, Okla., he was the son of the late Earl and Edith (Tudor) Giesler.
Dick was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He worked in the gas and oil field for various companies in the local area.
He was a member of St. John Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville.
Surviving are his loving wife, Betty E. Giesler, who he married June 16, 1951; his grandsons, Jonathan (Kaleena) Lauer of Butler and Christopher Lauer of Cabot; his great-granddaughters, Hannah and Emma Lauer of Butler; and his brothers, Harold Giesler of Rochester, Ind., and Arthur Giesler of Rochester, Ind.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Rosemary (Lauer) Uptegraph; four sisters; and one brother.
GIESLER - Friends of Harry R. "Dick" Giesler, who died Friday, May 16, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John Roman Catholic Church, 668 Clearfield Road, Fenelton. Interment will follow in St. John Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023.
