Helen P. Hans, 80, of Chicora, formerly of Zelienople, passed away Friday at the Chicora Medical Center.

Born on June 22, 1933, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Helen Stanford Anschuetz.
She was employed at Passavant Retirement Community. She was a member of the Women of the Moose in Harmony and enjoyed visiting with her family and playing bingo.
Surviving are her three children, Mary (James) Blurton, Edward (Carrie Smith) Hans and Susan (Randy) Geibel; her seven grandchildren, Rhonda (Dan) Kidd of Butler, Steven (Katie) Rauschenberger of Butler, Jessica (Jonathan) Van Ling of Lancaster, Ohio, Lori (Kris) Rauschenburger Cox of Palm Bay, Fla., Haleigh Smith of Butler, Garrett Hans of Butler and Abigayle Hans of Butler; her four great-grandsons, Kevin Kidd of Butler, Soren Sloboda of Palm Bay, Fla., Talon Smith of Butler and Cooper Rauschenberger of Butler; her sister, Gloria (Clyde) Rice of Butler; and her numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her four brothers and one sister.
Hans- The friends of Helen P. Hans, who passed away Friday, May 30, 2014, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Alden Towberman officiating.
