Patricia R. Parenti
Patricia R. Parenti, 84, of Grove City passed away at 1:45 p.m. Sunday at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness.
She was born in Bruin on Feb. 22, 1929, to Thomas R. Morrow and Flora Reardon Morrow.
She was married to Alexander T. "Sam" Parenti for more than 57 years, and he preceded her in death on April 17, 2002.
She was a homemaker, and she was the secretary for her family's business, Parenti and Sons trucking. She was a member of the Church of the Beloved Disciple, Grove City.
She was a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Mercer, and she enjoyed crafts and antiques.
She is survived by three daughters, Rose Jones and her husband, Harry Jones Jr., of Grove City, Patty Parenti of Spring, Texas, and Dorothy Parenti of Grove City; three sons, Alexander T. Parenti Jr. and his wife, Joyce, of Westland, Mich., James T. Parenti and his wife, Charlotte, of Toledo, Ohio, and Thomas R. Parenti and his wife, Joyce, of Diamond Bar, Calif.; 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and one brother, Larry Morrow of Alabama. She also leaves behind her best friend, Vina Best of Grove City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Valerie Flynn; one son, Michael Joseph Parenti; one brother, Floyd Morrow; and one sister, Kathleen Harris.
PARENTI - Visitation for Patricia R. Parenti, who died Sunday, March 17, 2013, will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Cunningham Funeral Home, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City. A Mass of Christian burial will be at the Church of the Beloved Disciple, 1310 S. Center St., Grove City, at 10 a.m. Friday with Fr. Michael Allison as celebrant. Burial will take place at Crestview Memorial Park, Grove City.
