Thomas L. Gregory, 94, of Renfrew died Saturday morning in the VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler.

Born on April 20, 1919, in Butler, he was the son of the late George F. and Mary L. Michaels Gregory.
He was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church, Connoquenessing.
Tom had worked for Treesdale Farms in Connoquenessing for 35 years. His job was taking care of the orchards. He later worked as a custodian for the Butler School District, retiring in 1988. He loved being around the children.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II.
Tom also enjoyed hunting, gardening and camping. He was a member of the NRA.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane Johnston Gregory on Oct. 3, 2008; one infant son; three sisters, and two brothers.
He is survived by one daughter, Carol (Roger) Kline of Renfrew; two grandchildren, Kelli (Josh) Mato of Butler and Chad (Wendy) Kline of Freedom; two great-grandchildren, Janna and Gregory Kline, and a sister-in-law, Marcella Johnston of Renfrew.
GREGORY - The family of Thomas L. Gregory, who died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013 will receive relatives and friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City. The funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family has suggested memorial donations be made to the VNA Inpatient Hospice, 154 Hindman Road, Butler, PA 16001.
