Allan Keith Miller, 69, of Meriden lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at his home in Meriden, surrounded by his family. He was born April 21, 1943 at New Haven, CT., the son of LeRoy Frank and Winifred Miller. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Viet Nam war, serving from 1960 to 1964. He owned and operated Al Miller Construction and made his living as a construction worker for over 40 years. He was a life member of Meriden V.F.W. Post #10815. He was married to Judith Ellen Goins, they were divorced. He married Debra Kay Cornelison Chapman on May 28, 1988 at Meriden, she survives at the home. He is also survived by a son, Keith Eugene and wife, Joy Miller, Omaha, NE., a daughter and husband, Jeremy and Kelly Rae Erpelding, Bridge City, TX., two step-daughters, Wendy Boyd, Topeka, Rori Chapman, Topeka, 12 grandchildren, Jordan Erpelding, Dalton Halseth, Mariah Erpelding Destini Brown, David Miller, Ty Brown, Brittany Erpelding, Brandon Miller, Justin Miller, Penelope Erpelding, Alexis Leach, Spencer Erpelding, and a special adopted family, Dusty, Melissa, Karlie and Bradyn Price. A Visitation Gathering and Celebration of Life will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, April 1 at the Meriden V.F.W. Post #10815. Cremation is planned. In lieu of flowers, Memorials are suggested to Allan K. Miller memorial fund in care of the Barnett Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 602, Oskaloosa, KS., 66066. Allan Keith Miller
