Marvin Wayne Adams HOLTON- Marvin Wayne Adams, 81, of Holton, KS passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Medicalodges Jackson County. He was born October 12, 1932 in Delia, KS the son of Irvin F. and Edith E. (Segrist) Adams. Marvin graduated from Mayetta High School. After high school, he was drafted into the United States Army serving during the Korean War. Marvin was a farmer and stockman. Survivors include his sister, Betty Graves of Topeka; his nieces Kris Poston (Ron) of Horton, KS and Kim Graves of Las Vegas, NV; his nephew, Mark Graves (Lotus) of Shawnee, KS; and his 4 grand-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth I. Adams and his niece Tamara Graves. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 10th at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial with full military honors will follow in Bucks Grove Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 9:30-service time Monday morning.
