LaLond, Charles F..
Charles Frederick LaLond age 69 of Milford, beloved husband of the late Elaine (Bollinger) LaLond, entered eternal life Sunday, April 20, 2014 in Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by his loving children. Mr. LaLond was born August 16, 1944 in Bridgeport, son of the late Harold and Helen (Geddes) LaLond and had been a lifetime area resident. Charles was a United States Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a retired driver for various trucking companies. He was a member of the Milford VFW and enjoyed fishing, bowling and playing pool. Survivors include his three, children, Charles Lalond and his wife Robin of Stratford, April LaLond of Stratford, and Shawn Lalond and his wife Jennifer of Milford; five grandchildren, Cemal, Serafettin, Mohammed, Yunis and Rabiya Senel; one brother, Norman LaLond; one sister, Marjorie Johnson and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St, Stratford. Interment with military honors will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
