Edward J. Federowicz, age 89, of Milford, beloved husband of Louise (Jacheo) Fedorowicz, died on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at the West Haven Veterans' Affairs Medical Center.
Mr. Federowicz was born in Bridgeport to the late Emily (Bakier) and John Fedorowicz and had resided in Milford for 58 years. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and had served in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre as a gunner.
Mr. Federowicz was the former owner and proprietor of the Keystone Restaurant. He was retired from Stratford Housing Authority. His most treasured times were those spent with his family.
In addition to his loving wife of 70 years, he is survived by one daughter, Marietta Fiore and Brian Downey of Milford; one granddaughter, Dana Joyce of Milford; two great-grandchildren, Payten Nevins and Nicco Joyce; son-in-law, Michael Wrigglesworth of West Haven; one niece, Joanne; and one nephew, Donald. He had been predeceased by his daughter, Sharon Wrigglesworth.
Friends may call on Friday from 8:30 am to 9:45 am at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford. Interment with military honors at St. Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave., Milford.
