Brosler, Erwin
Erwin Brosler, age 84, passed away on March 28, 2014 at the Watermark in Bridgeport. Mr. Brosler was the husband of the late Helene Kamens, and the son of the late George and Bella Brosler. Mr. Brosler worked for most of his life as the proud owner of Barnum Hardware on the east side of Bridgeport. Mr. Brosler was a graduate of Central High School, where he received a scholarship to attend the University of Bridgeport and was a member of the first graduating class. He went on to NYU for his master's degree where he was called to serve during the Korean conflict. Survivors include his sons, Wayne Brosler and his wife Mara of Trumbull, Royce Brosler and wife Dara of Orange and his grandchildren, Jason, Anna and Jacob. Survivors also include his sister Florence Brenner, and brother Harvey Brosler. Services will take place today, Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 1:30 pm directly at Loyalty Cemetery on Burroughs Road in Fairfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.

Sorry to hear the passing of your father. I knew him for the past 8 years as part of the Widows Persons groups. We aways had good times and laughed a lot at our events. He will be missed by all.
