Busko, Eugene E.
Busko- Eugene Elias Busko, age 80, of Trumbull, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013. Born in Bridgeport, July 15, 1932, son of the late John and Elizabeth Elias Busko, Gene was a resident of Bridgeport before moving to Trumbull several years ago. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War, serving in Japan and Korea. He had worked for the Unite States Postal Service until his retirement and for several years he had been the manager of the former Circle Bowling Lanes of Fairfield. A devout catholic, Gene was a longtime parishoner of St. Emery's Church, where he was a willing volunteer for many church functions. He was also a dedicated supporter of the West Point Academy. Gene is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his sisters, Grace Vida, M. Busko, Elizabeth Partington. Helen Soboleski, Olga Busko and Margaret Toth. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11am in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Rd., Fairfield Center with burial to follow in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport with full Military Honors. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Monday from 10am until the time of services.
