Ricco, III, George F.
George F. Ricco III passed away in his home on Sunday, October 27th, 2013 at the age of 51 years old. He was the beloved father of George F. Ricco IV, Jessica Marie Ricco, Anthony John Ricco, Jacob Andres Ricco and Juliana Maureen Ricco; son of Sandra D. Ricco and the late George F. Ricco, Jr.; brother of Ernest George Ricco and his wife Brenda, Charles Ronald Ricco and his wife Deborah, the late Ronald Richard Ricco and late Richard George Ricco; grandfather of Jolina Monique Doran; Nephew to numerous aunts and uncles; Uncle George to numerous nieces and nephews; ex-husband to Jacqueline Krehel-Ricco and cousin and friend to many.
Born April 8th, 1962, George was a life time resident of Stratford having played Stratford Original Little League Baseball, Pony Baseball, Stratford Holy Name Cardinal Football and Sterling House Basketball as a youth. As an adult he had been actively involved as a Steward with the Teamsters Union, active in town as a Little League Baseball and PAL Football coach along with being a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and First District Italian Club.
There will be a Memorial Service at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Avenue in Stratford on Thursday, 10/31/13 10:00 a.m. followed by a brief coffee and pastry reception at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, 44 Dodge Avenue, Stratford.
The family would like to request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the children to help defray the costs of the funeral.
