Harlan Craig, age 83, longtime resident of Milford and beloved husband to Millicent Zeek Craig, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Milford Hospital. Born on October 2, 1930 in Amsterdam, NY, he was the son of the late Harold and Ethel Millington Craig. Harlan served with pride and honor in the US Airforce. Prior to his retirement, he was a metal fabricator for Rolock, Inc. in Fairfield and was also a Volunteer Fire Fighter at Engine 6 in Milford. A talented woodworker, Harlan built his own home and took great pride in caring for his yard. Harlan was an active member of the Milford Senior Center and participated in singing with their gospel choir. He was a dedicated Mason for over 25 years. An avid swimmer and he skier, he also enjoyed solving crossword puzzles. A loving and kind husband, father, grandfather and brother, Harlan will be deeply missed.
In addition to his wife, Millicent of 54 years, he is survived by his children, Timothy (Sue) Craig of Woodbridge and Elaine Craig of Milford; his cherished granddaughter, Amanda Craig; brother, Norman (Roberta) Craig of NY and a loving niece, Susan Craig of NY.
Friends and family may call on Friday, December 13, 2013 from 9 to 11 am with a Prayer Service at 11:00 am at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460.
