Abboud, Jesse R.
Jesse R. Abboud, 79, of West Haven passed away in the comfort of his home Wednesday May 14, 2014. He is survived by his daughters Christine Marie Abboud-El-Bakri, Michelle Josephine Abboud, his son in law Salah Musleh Al-Bakri, his grandson Riyad Salah Al-Bakri, his brother in law William Killinger and his niece Jessica Killinger. He was predeceased by his sister Karol M. Hannover, his nephew Mark Killinger, and his former wife Gemma Angelina Facco Abboud. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. In 1960, Jesse received his MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Prior to his retirement in 1985, he functioned as the director of design, new market development and also the advertising g director for The Warnaco Group Inc., a NYC-based clothing/textile corporation. A world traveler,Jesse Abboud was a world traveler and a gourmand of food and wine. He he was fluent in Spanish, was a a proficient drummer, a Jazz & Latin Music enthusiast and had an insatiable thirst for learning. The hours for visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday in St. Lawrence Church at 11am. Interment will be private.
