Mulla, Pamela
Pamela Vrable Mulla, age 61, beloved wife of Hoshang D. Mulla, passed peacefully into eternal rest on Thursday, January 17th, 2013 surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her home in Trumbull, Connecticut. Born on December 5th, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio, Pamela was the daughter of the late George and Betty Vrable. The first female college graduate in her family, Pamela earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan in 1973. She pursued her professional career with zeal and dedication initially as a NICU nurse, later as an office manager for an international pharmaceutical equipment company, and finally returning to her calling as a nurse in the Milford school system after successfully passing the state board exams after 20 years out of the profession.
Her life was devoted to raising her family; instilling her values of gratification through achievement and hard work into her children. She had many talents, and was passionate in pursuing her various interests including knitting, cooking and technology. She had a deep love of music, art, travel and world culture.
In addition to her devoted husband of 36 years, she is survived by her two sons, Christopher Mulla M.D., his wife Bethany, M.D., and their son Zachary, Jonathan Mulla and his wife Melissa; her daughter, Jennifer Mulla; and her sister, Cynthia Tartaglia and her husband David Tartaglia.A private memorial service will be held in the spring for family and friends to celebrate her life.In lieu of flowers, donations to the or the would be appreciated.
