Sharron Wilson Van Buren, 69, of Palm Coast Florida, formerly of Keene, New Hampshire, went to be with her Lord on October 27, 2013, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born on April 26, 1944, daughter of the late Harold and Gladys (Thayer) Wilson. She was a self- taught business woman with a number of business's in Florida. She frequently visited her family and friends in New England. Her favorite place to be, other than with her family, was at the beach. She was a fabulous cook, being able to throw a dinner together for two or a hundred at a moment's notice. She was an extremely generous person, hosting a huge annual 3 day yard sale starting the day after Thanksgiving with all proceeds going to charity. She enjoyed shopping, bowling, painting and was an avid reader. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church and Chapter #2240 Women of the Moose in Palm Coast, FL. She leaves behind her husband, P. John Van Buren of Palm Coast, FL, her children, Tracy Hodgkins Henri (Thomas) of Ansonia, CT, Jamie Hodgkins (Lagerberg) Kellogg (Todd Cox) of North Swanzey, NH, Stacy Van Buren of West Palm Beach, FL, Michael Van Buren (Sharon) of Palm Coast, FL, three siblings, Wayne Wilson (Kay) of Keene, NH, Jerilyn Bryer (Bob) of Hancock, NH, and Gail Jordan of Keene, NH, two sisters-in-law, Gail Hillis and Merle Gray of FL, one brother-in-law, Carl Van Buren of NY and one aunt, Evelyn Bruder of Keene, NH. To cherish her memory are her 14 grandchildren, Nicholas and Tiffany Wheaton of CT, Amanda Chamberlin (Carl), Emily Lagerberg (Nate) of NH, Christopher, Steven, David, Jonathon, Mark, and Sarah Van Buren of FL, Matthew, Andrew, Joshua and Abigail Mitchell of FL and 9 great grandchildren, Layla and Tianna Wheaton and Justice Dukes of CT, Chloe Swett, Gabrielle and Lillian Derosier of NH, Gracie Mae, Madison and Miles Desrosiers of NH. She also leaves behind her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by a brother-in-law Kenneth Jordan. A celebration of Sharron's life will be held in her honor on November 30, 2013, at10:00 am at the Sullivan Congregational Church Annex, Centre St, Sullivan NH. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sharron's name may be made to one of her favorite charities, Project Share/Operation Santa Claus, c/o, Bev.
