LIVINGSTON, THEODORE (Teddy)
Theodore Livingston, age 81 of Bridgeport entered into eternal rest Monday, November 18, 2013 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Glenmore Louisiana to the late Walter and Dazree Wells Livingston, Theodore has been a resident of Bridgeport for the past sixty years. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged. He was employed at Superior Plating for thirty-eight years; met his spiritual needs as a disciple of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church since 1982 where he served the Men's Choir, the Sr. Usher Ministry church sexton, Pastor's Aide and the New Hope Feeding Kitchen. Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Brown of Bridgeport and Margaret (Donald) Harris of Derby; three brothers, Herman (Marion) Livingston of Bridgeport, Willie (Patricia) Patterson and Sidney Patterson ; a sister, Jewel Brooks all of FL; one grandson; several nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 25, 2013, 12 Noon at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 1100 Park Ave., Bridgeport with Pastor David O. Miller, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Friends are invited to the viewing Monday from 10:00 AM - 12 Noon at the church. See www.mortonsmortuary.com.
