There are no REAL men anymore. I didn't have the honor to meet Mr. Marshall but I feel honored to have served in the same Armed Forces as he did. He was an icon in our platoon and we hung "the picture" in our barracks and paid homage through our actions in the field. There is no comparison to this man. God bless.

Cathy and family: We send you all our deepest sympathy. Canada has lost a true hero for whom we are very grateful that such courageous men (like Harold ) and women gave so much. You have lost a Husband, Father,Grandpa, Brother,Uncle and to so many of us, a friend who inspired. We shall always remember a handsome kind, gentle man whom we respected and admired so very much . We appreciated his knowledge and his humor. Never do I look at the new Spring shoots of rhubarb and not think of Harold. Never do we forget the twinkle in his eye when he reached for a a cookie:) The smile on his face as checked the jar. His life had great purpose and now we know he Rests in Peace. Our thoughts are with all of you.
Sincerely, Martin , Ruth and Geoffrey and Cherie.
