Theodore Lasek of Calgary passed away on December 10, 2012 at the age of 88 years. Theodore was born in Poland and immigrated to Montreal, QC with his family in 1930. He joined the Navy at the age of 19 and on a one day pass he married the love of his life Pauline. After the war they started their life together. Theodore worked for the C.N.R., retiring as Staff Sergeant in 1985. His hobbies were many, he loved to garden, read books, shop for antiques, renovate, listen to music and he especially loved to dance with Pauline. They moved to Calgary in 1992 to be closer to his family. Theodore will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and love of his family. Theodore is survived by his sister Jenny Morris; daughter and son-in-law, Donna Elaine and Ronald K. Lalonde; extended Lalonde family Kiley and Shannon and their sons Hunter, Cohen, Roman; grandsons, Jason Patrick Roach and Timothy Theodore Francis Roach and his wife Pamela Roach (nee Dacey); two sisters-in-law, Mary Gorchinsky and Helen Forte and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Pauline on April 11, 2006.
