David Wellington Batchelor, 93, died on April 9, 2013 in Canon City, Colorado. He was born November 26, 1919 to George W. and Nellie Mae (Perkins) Batchelor in Ft Wayne, Indiana. David was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving during WWII. He was a member of the Methodist Church, Elks, V.F.W., and Masonic 32nd Degree Lodge. Mr. Batchelor is survived by his son, David R. Batchelor; daughters, Diane Miller (Steve Tolson) and Cheri (Ed) Adcox; eight grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wives, Helen (Francisco), Nettie (Monte), Hazel (Wilson), and Helen (Conlon); his parents; brothers, Smith J. Batchelor and George Batchelor; and sister, Irene Batchelor. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Holt Chapel of the Garden in Canon City, CO.
