DeAngelis
92, of Brewster, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2014 at Doylestown Health Care Center. She was born in Brewster on Jan. 17, 1922 to the late Silvio and Anna (Chiudioni) DeAngelis and had lived all of her life in Brewster. She served in the Women's Army Corp during World War II and following her honorable discharge in 1947 she enrolled at the Ohio State University where she earned her bachelors and masters degree. She was a retired school teacher having taught at St. Joseph Academy in Columbus, Navarre, Fairless, Marlington, and Hoover High School where she retired from in 1979. She was a member of Holy Family Parish in Brewster.
She is survived by a sister, Gina Monsanty of Brewster; and two nephews, Greg (Suzanne) Monsanty of Doylestown and their children Stephanie and Lauren, and Eric Monsanty of Los Angelis, Calif.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Parish, 512 S. Wabash Avenue, Brewster, with Father Michael Seifert officiating. Burial will follow in St. Clement Cemetery in Navarre. Friends may call on Thursday from 9-9:45 a.m. at the Spidell Funeral Home, 209 Chestnut Street, NW, Brewster.
