age 44 of Canton, passed away Sunday evening after an extended illness. Born in Heidelberg, Germany, John was raised in Canton and was a 1986 graduate of Glenoak High School. He was a member of the River of Life Christian Fellowship Church. An Air Force veteran, John served two tours during Desert Storm.
He is survived by his wife, Kim (Adkins) Digiantonio with whom he would have celebrated 22 years of marriage this July; children, Devin Marie and Tyler John of the home; father and stepmother David and Lisa Digiantonio of Cincinnati; mother, Virginia Benge of Utah; father-in-law and mother-in-law, David and Helen Adkins of Canton; grandmother, Phyllis Digiantonio of Canton; sisters, Brittany (David) Cook, Tiffany Marie Digiantonio (fiancee, Ron Bauer), all of Cincinnati; brothers, Brandon David Digiantonio of Cincinnati, Michael David (Debbie) Digiantonio of Austin, Texas; brothers-in-law, Mark Adkins of Colorado and Timothy (Jane) Adkins of Canton.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Rossi Funeral Home and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with Rev. Louanne Zakaski officiating. Interment with full military services will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
