Richard Thomas 'Dick' Kintz
age 91, died Tuesday after a short illness. He was a life resident of North Canton, 1940 graduate or North Canton High School, and attended the University of Akron. Dick was retired from the Hoover Company after 43 years of service. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in North Canton and the North Canton Council No. 3777 Knights of Columbus. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
Survived by his wife, Virginia M. (Schauer) Kintz; eight children, Jim (Janie) Kintz, Mike (Kathy) Kintz, Ron (Linda) Kintz, Mary Kintz, Bob (Becky) Kintz, Terry (Tim) Lee, John Kintz and Dave (Lynn) Kintz; 10 grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; two sisters, Dolores (Jack) Harte and Rebecca Whitmeyer; and two brothers, Don and Bill (Mary Jo) Kintz. Preceded in death by his parents, Wilfrid and Agnes Kintz; two sisters, Rosemary Keller and Geraldine Ackerman; and two brothers, Joe and Jack Kintz.
Family and friends will meet on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church in North Canton for a Mass of Christian Burial with Fr. Stephen Zeigler as celebrant. Burial with military honors will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Paul's Catholic School in North Canton.
