'Together Again' Rudy W. Heinicke
age 83, died Tuesday after a long illness. Born in Warsaw, Germany, he had lived in Canton since 1953. Rudy retired from HP Products in 1995 and was a former member of the German American Club. He was a Korean War Army veteran. Preceded in death by his wives, Bridget M. Heinicke and Inez Heinicke and a sister, Elisabeth Ecksmith.
Survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Cook of Canton and Bridget and Ronald Yant of Navarre; son, Paul Heinicke of Canton; six grandsons, P.J. Heinicke, Mark and Matthew Cook and Andrew Christopher and Adam Yant; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Hermine Seibert.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Parish in St. Clement Catholic Church in Navarre with Fr. Michael Seifert as celebrant. Burial with Military Honors will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holy Family Parish.
