Victor W. Snyder
71, of Navarre, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, following an extended illness. He was born in Massillon on June 1, 1942 to the late Charles and Glenna (Bailey) Snyder. Victor was a veteran of the United States Air Force and worked at Canton Drop Forge for 32 years until his retirement in 1997. He was member of American Legion Post #441, V. F. W. Post #5047 and the F.O.E. # 190. Victor served on the Navarre Village Fire Department. He was active in youth sports, coaching football and softball teams.
He is survived by his wife of twenty years, Naomi 'Jo' Snyder; his son, Charles (Rhonda) Snyder of Navarre; his daughter, Vicki Sue (Paul) Catlin of Bolivar; four grandchildren, Elissa, Olivia and Emma Snyder, Staci Catlin and a brother, Terry Snyder. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Charles 'Red' Snyder and his first wife, Susie (Benson) Snyder.
