William Henry Archer
80 of Orrville, died Friday, July 11, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center in Canton. Bill was born in Rittman to the late Herbert Clyde and Anna Lee (Boyes) Archer.  He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and retired from Ecodyne, Inc. in Massillon.  He had made his home in the Dalton and Orrville  and was a member of West Hill Baptist Church. 
Surviving are his wife, Arlis Jean; children: Kathy and David Keller of Sharon Center, Robert and Marcie Archer of Massillon and Ronald and Janine Archer of Gnadenhutten; grandsons: Nathan (Tara) Keller, Brett (Jessica) Keller, Anthony (Amy) Archer, Austin (Jessie) Archer, Andrew (Stephanie) Archer and Adrian (Alyce) Archer; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Norma Zimmerman of Lorain and Shirley Archer of Wooster; brothers, Cecil 'Dutch' (Beverly) Archer of Dalton, Gerald (Jean) Archer of Levittown, Pa., and David (Erma) Archer of Wooster; and nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary Troxel; and brothers, Dewain and Raymond 'Sonny'.
Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with burial following in Canaan Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Tributes may be shared at:
