August Luedtke

August L. Luedtke, 84, a life long resident of Severn, died April 11 at his residence in Severn. Born November 7 1928 on the family farm in Severn to the late August and Martha Luedtke, Mr. Luedtke work for 45 years at National Plastics / Nevamar in Odenton from 1949 till 1994. He also worked for over 40 years at the Butler Saw Mill in Gambrills. He enjoyed traveling and driving his corvette. He is preceded in death by his brother, Chris Luedtke and a sister, Martha Howard. Mr. Luedtke is survived by his daughter, Linda Loane and her husband Frank Sr. of Pasadena; sister, Dorothy Urie of Pasadena; two grandsons, Frank Loane Jr. and his wife Julie and William "Bill" Loane and his wife Paula, both of Pasadena; and two great-grandchildren, Chelsea and Emily Loane. Friends may call on from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, at the Stallings Funeral Home PA, where funeral services will be held 8 p.m., Sunday. Interment private.
