Bernadine Bukowski

Bernadine "Bernie" Helen Bukowski, 79, a resident of Odenton for over 40 years, died at her residence on July 22.
Born March 26, 1933 in Baltimore, Bernie attended St. Mary's Business School. She was employed as an administrative assistant at the Department of Justice, Bureau of Prisons in Washington, DC.
Bernie was a long time youth bowling coach at Ft. Meade. She was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church. She enjoyed travel, casinos, the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clifford J. Bukowski, whom she married in 1951 and who died in 1994.
She is survived by two sons, Patrick Michael and David Joseph Bukowski, both of Odenton; brother, Frederick Frankowski of Ocean City; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday at Hardesty Funeral Home, Gambrills, where the funeral will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
