Elizabeth Witol Obituary

WITOL, ELIZABETH JEANNE, affectionately known as Betty, passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on June 15, 2013. Betty was born in Aurora, IL on October 29, 1926. She has spent the last 50 years of her life in Bowie, MD. Betty is predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Elizabeth Barzci Boras; her husband Edward W. Witol, and her son Edward A. Witol. Betty is survived by her brother, Andrew (Ken) Boras of Bayside, NY; her sister, Shirley Hammond of Florida; and her daughter, Diane Witol Gallagher of Bowie, MD. Betty has been truly blessed in her life with two children; 12 grandchildren; 7 seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Betty worked in retail in Bowie for many years, and she was one of the original members of Grace Lutheran Church in Bowie. Her legacy is that she dearly loved her Lord, her family and her friends, and nothing was more important to her than to make them feel loved and respected. Family received friends at the family-owned Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Wednesday, June 19, 2013. A Funeral Service was held at Grace Lutheran Church, 2503 Belair Dr., Bowie, MD on Thursday, June 20, 2013. A private interment will be held at a later date.
