Francis Rogers

ROGERS, FRANCIS K., passed away peacefully at her home in Severn surrounded by her life partner, family, and loved ones on May 14, 2013. She was born on May 23, 1953 to Robert and Edna Rogers in Havre de Grace, Maryland. She proudly served her country from 1973-1993 during the Vietnam war, Grenada, and Operation Desert Storm. She retired from the U.S. Army as a Sergeant First Class after 20 years of service. Francis is survived by Sharon Taylor her life partner of 25 years, her sisters Linda Schuler (Ed), Rosemary Rogers, and Paula. Her brother Charles Rogers (Alverta) and stepfather, Mr. Edwin Klunk. Also survived by her loving nieces: Amelia, Elizabeth, Roberta and Rosemary, and nephews: Ricky, Gregory, Jonathon, Robert and Benjamin and her precious pets Thomas and Lady. Memorial services will be held at Singleton Memorial Chapel on Crain Highway in Glen Burnie on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 2pm
