Lucy Kay, we are so saddened to learn of Jim's sudden passing. We were just thinking about our trip from pilot training to California. Jim lead the way for us and Villantis while driving his Corvette. He stayed in the left lane to let us know there was no traffic ahead. We made it out there in record time!
He will be missed by all of us. We are sending our deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Lucy Kay:

I extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I fondly remember the aternoon the two of you and Frances and I strolled the streets of Charleston a few years back at the 67-E reunion. I was a good friend and flying buddy those many years ago at Moody AFB.

Dear Lucy Kay,
My heart is just broken. Even though I have let the few miles that separate us get in the way of seeing you, you and Jim have such a large part of my heart. My prayers are with all of you. Unfortunately,I will be out of town for the service.
