Lorraine Augusta Willis, 87, a resident of Annapolis, died suddenly June 30 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis. Born January 5, 1926 in Baltimore to the late Oliver M. Bass and Elizabeth Johnson Bass, Lori attended Glen Burnie High and soon after married Stamey J. Willis. Willis was employed with the Civil Service Commission (War Dept),as well as, the City of Annapolis. She was also employed with the Department of Defense at NSA, until her retirement. Mrs. Willis was a member of the Inner Wheel (Rotary Club) and was a reader. She enjoyed cooking, needlepoint, Bridge, country music and spending time with her family. She is survived by her son, Stamey J "Jerry" Willis II and his wife Louise Schultz Willis of Glen Burnie; daughter, Jill Willis O'Connor and her husband Thomas O'Connor of Southborough, MA; sister, Olive Bennett of Columbia; and four grandchildren, Bryan O'Connor, Hilary O'Connor, Duncan O'Connor of Southborough, MA and William "Woody" Schultz of Los Angeles, CA. Family and friends are invited to visit from 10:30 until memorial service beginning at 11 a.m., Friday, July 12, at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy.
