Lynette Shannon

Lynette Miriam Shannon, 78, of Stevensville, died August 5 at the Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Born in Baltimore on December 5, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Martin Uber and Miriam Westphal Uber. Ms. Shannon grew up in the Arbutus area and was a 1951 graduate of Catonsville Senior High School. She moved to the Eastern Shore in 2003 and lived in Stevensville.

She is survived by her children, Paul Kahler (Robin) of Owings, Glenn Kahler (Terri) of Millersville, and Janis Nitkoski (Mark) of Stevensville; and five grandchildren, Angela, Joanna, Kate, Christopher and Matthew.

To Lynn's family: I am so sorry! Lynn was a treasured member of the Annapolis Senior Center. She will truly be missed.
One year we had eighteen day trips. Lynn signed up for fifteen, so I asked her,"What was the matter with the other
three?" I think she loved us as much as we loved her.
